What's the Vibe in the Circle1 Office?

Ask anyone who works here and you will get the same one word answer: chill. The better proof is what people do with the choice. Everyone who has the option to work from home still turns up at the office, most days, without anyone asking.
Mostly in person, hybrid when you need it
We are an in-person team by default. Being in the same room is how the work actually moves: a question that would sit in a thread for two hours gets answered by turning around in your chair.
But life happens, so hybrid is supported. Nobody is counting days at the door. What we care about is that you are reachable, that the work lands, and that the people depending on you are not left waiting.
Async first, then together
Days start async. Standup is written, not a meeting, so nobody loses their morning to a round-robin of status updates and everyone can read it whenever they get in.
Once that is out of the way, the actual work is a team sport. Problems get pulled apart at a whiteboard, pairing happens without a calendar invite, and reviews are conversations rather than comment threads.
Cricket and football in the office hall
We play cricket and football inside the office hall. Not in a sports complex, in the hall, which means both games have been quietly redesigned to fit the space and the furniture. House rules, improvised boundaries, and a running argument about whether that counted.
It sounds like a small thing. It is not. It is the reason the room does not go quiet at 6pm, and a good part of why people who could log in from home would rather be here.
Come see it
A description of an office only tells you so much. If this sounds like the kind of room you would do your best work in, write to us at career@circle1.tech.

We are always open to talented people, whether or not a role is posted.
